Jesus House exists to be a resting place for the presence of God—a house of prayer for all peoples—where the Scriptures are boldly proclaimed, worship is extravagant, and a people are formed in purity and hunger as we prepare the Bride for the return of Jesus.

Our mission is to build a House of Prayer, a House of Holiness, a House of Hunger, and a House of Bold Evangelism—forming disciples through worship, His Word, and His presence, sending them to carry the gospel of Jesus to our city and the nations.

Jesus House is founded upon Jesus’ declaration that, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples” (see Gospel of Matthew 21:13). We believe the Church’s first calling is ministry to the Lord—loving Him with wholehearted devotion. We are anchored in the Great Commandment (Gospel of Matthew 22:37–39), the Great Commission (Gospel of Matthew 28:18–20), and the call to prepare the Bride of Christ in purity and holiness (Ephesians 5:25–27). We believe sustained prayer fuels revival, holiness prepares the way of the Lord, and extravagant worship enthrones Jesus in our midst. We exist to cultivate a community that burns with hunger for God and carries the gospel to all peoples until He returns.

At Jesus House, we are first a people before we are a place. We are a house of prayer — not as a program, but as our identity. Prayer is not something we do; it is who we are. We gather to minister to the Lord because He is worthy. We value presence over performance, purity over platform, and obedience over outcomes. Our culture is marked by: Holiness — We pursue lives set apart, guarding our integrity in private and public. Hunger — We refuse complacency and contend for more of God. Sacrifice — We give our time, comfort, resources, and reputation for the sake of Jesus. Extravagant Worship — We worship with wholehearted affection, reverence, and awe. Bold Evangelism — We carry the gospel with compassion and courage to our city and beyond. Bridal Readiness — We live with eternity in view, preparing ourselves for the return of Christ. We are not spectators. We are participants. We are not consumers. We are consecrated. We believe sustained prayer births revival, revival produces transformation, and transformation glorifies Jesus. At Jesus House, the altar stays central, the Scriptures stay open, and the oil stays burning.

The One True Godhead The triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, who are eternally self-existent, self-revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and The Holy Spirit. John 1:1-5, 10-14; Matthew 28:18- 20 The Holy Scriptures The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man; the living, infallible, and everlasting rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. 2 Timothy 3:15- 17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12 Salvation through Jesus Christ Man was created in the image of God, but by voluntary transgression, fell, and his only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who was conceived of the Virgin Mary. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing both salvation and divine healing for all mankind. Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Romans 3:24; Romans 5:12-21; John 3:3; Psalm 103:3; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8-10 The Holy Spirit and His Gifts The Holy Spirit dwells in all believers, conforming them to the image of Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, subsequent to salvation, releases the fullness of the Spirit, the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the spiritual gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. All believers should earnestly seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:38; Acts 10:44-46; 11 Acts 1:8; Acts 11:14-16; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31 The Church The Church is the Body of Christ on the earth, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments to fulfill her great commission, which is to glorify God, equip the saints, and disciple the nations. Each believer who puts their faith in Jesus Christ is an integral part of the Body of Christ and should seek to be planted in a local church (a community of believers). Ephesians 1:11-12, 22-23; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:22-23; 1 Peter 2:9 Water Baptism The ordinance of water baptism by a burial with Christ should be observed as commanded in the Scriptures by all who have repented and in their hearts have believed in Christ as Savior and Lord. In so doing, they declare to the world that they have died with Jesus and that they have also been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Acts 10:47-48 Holy Communion The ordinance of holy communion is a commemoration of the death of the Lord and is done in remembrance of Him until He comes again. It should be observed by the prophetic use of the bread and the juice of the vine that is the body and blood of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:24-25, 28 The Sanctity of Human Life All human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life begins at conception and is of immeasurable worth in all its dimensions, including preborn babies, the aged, the physically or mentally-challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are, therefore, called to defend, protect, and value all human life. Genesis 1:27; Leviticus 19:32; Psalm 139:13-16; Proverbs 16:31; Job 12:12; Jeremiah 1:5; Marriage From birth, God has wonderfully and immutably created each person as male or female. These two distinct and unchanging complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. God instituted marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family, the basic structure of human society, and God has ordained sexual activity to occur exclusively within that union. Genesis 19:5, 26:8-11; Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1Corinthians 5:1, 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; 7 Hebrews 13:4   Judgement There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15 The Second Coming of Jesus Christ We believe in the ever-increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We await His return and His literal rule upon the earth. We believe in the resurrection of the lost and the saved, one to everlasting death and the other to everlasting life. We believe there will be a new heaven and a new earth, and that the eternal Kingdom of God will have the ultimate victory. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Acts 1:9-11; Daniel 12:2; Revelation 22:1-7

1. Presence A House of Prayer & Extravagant Worship - We exist first to minister to the Lord. Jesus House is a dwelling place for the presence of God — marked by continual prayer, wholehearted devotion, and worship that is costly, joyful, and undignified. We build the altar before we build anything else. (Isaiah 56:7; Gospel of Mark 11:17) 2. Truth A House of Biblical Authority - We are anchored in the Word of God. Scripture is our final authority for doctrine, life, and culture. We preach the whole counsel of God and form disciples rooted deeply in biblical truth. (2 Timothy 3:16–17) 3. Power A House of the Holy Spirit - We depend on the active ministry of the Holy Spirit. We pursue love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, welcoming His conviction, empowerment, and supernatural work among us. (1 Corinthians 14:1) 4. Holiness A Consecrated & Sacrificial People - We pursue purity, humility, and costly obedience. We refuse casual Christianity and offer God worship that costs us something. We live set apart, preparing ourselves as a holy Bride. (1 Peter 1:15–16; Ephesians 5:25–27) 5. Formation A House of Discipleship & Generational Revival - We make disciples who know how to pray, obey, and endure. We believe revival is sustained through generational faithfulness — sons and daughters walking in the Spirit together. (Luke 11:1; Joel 2:28) 6. Mission Evangelism, Outreach & Restoration - We carry the gospel to our city and the nations. We contend for salvation, joyful restoration, and transformation until every people group has heard. (Gospel of Matthew 24:14; Psalm 51:12) 7. Readiness A Forerunner Bride - We live with eternity in view. Jesus House exists to prepare the way for the return of Christ — cultivating hunger, watchfulness, and the cry, “Come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:17)
